Reblogging Gust Funnel's recommendation on the Man in the Sand DVD. I really enjoyed it too. Mermaid Avenue was introduced to me by Bryan Kenna and Matt Ziser and both discs are two of my favorites. I gravitate to more of the Wilco songs on the album, partly because of the style and partly because of the subject matter that Tweedy preferred vs. what Billy Bragg liked.
